Checking the box for Daylight Savings Time should cause the time to adjust by one hour to Daylight Savings. 

If the programmer can set it to automatically set for Daylight Savings during the applicable months or the programmer can set it so that it makes the adjustment for Daylight Savings when the button is checked and not when it is not checked. 

(The time periods for Daylight Savings varies from country to country, so the later method would be fine unless the programmer knows a way to ''cover it all.''
