The checkbox after the AIR button appears before the label ''B4S-'' (which stands for ''Before Start, Minus'').  This provides an automatic ''ON AIR'' feature. 

(If you set both the minutes and seconds in the time block that follows the label ''B4S-'' to ZERO, then the program will switch to ON AIR at the ''Start Time'' shown in the time block at the beginning of row two.)

Next up, the Alarm Button
The ''B4S-'' when checked, turns ON the on-AIR button by the number of minutes and seconds shown in the time block that follows the label ahead of (in advance of) the ''Start Time.''

If the operator sets the time as shown in the example above to 30:00 (30 minutes and no seconds), then ON AIR will switch ON at 30 minutes before the ''Start Time.''
